My lady.

~~~ MY LADY ~~~
In my life there exists a lady who forever has been with me
and shall remain until my end,
my lady makes me smile, she brings colour into my life,
my lady feeds and waters me
and fills my life with wonderous things.
My lady plays me sweet music, she beams me the sunshine,
my lady offers me love and gifts me joy
and I love her more than any other;
my lady brings me the chorus at dawn, rainbows,snowflakes
and the twinkling twilight.
Moonlight dancing on the ocean and sunbursts on the horizon
these things she brings  us all,
the lady who unconditionally sacrifices her bounty only to reward her,
by ignoring the choking crys for help,
my very dear ever suffering Mother Earth.
 Kenny.
  2. I love morning glories and used to have millions of them in the back yard of the first house I ever owned when my children were little…………….It brought back wonderful memories for me. Thanks for that.
    I am going up to my daughter’s for Easter weekend in the Okanagan region of our beautiful province. I will get to see her new daycare centre that she and her hubby have opened on the grounds of their local elementary school. I am very proud of them. They’ve worked very hard, but their dream is coming true. I will get to spend some time with 2 of my wonderful grandsons too.
    The oldest of her boys said to me the other night on the phone " I can’t wait for Easter Grandma, but I can’t wait to see YOU !!
    It sent tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. I wish they did not live 6 hours away. I don’t see them as often as I’d like.
    Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend with your family, Kenny, and I will be back to see you next week……..
    Peace & Love to you  xo
    Looks a bit dull outside; I was hoping to trim the hedges round the swamp today. Still, always tomorrow. Good excuse for more rest today. lol
  12. Hi Kenny:  I came over from Suki’s space.  You have a beautiful space here….I especially love your music.  What a wonderful, inspiring poem.  It hits close to home for me….I’m Wiccan and I worship Mother Earth.  We need to learn to be much kinder to her than we have been.
    Blessings…Diane.
    I’m with you on saving the natterjack; they can come here in their hundreds for safety. Not sure I like the idea of being on tv; unless I can wear my bag. lol
    Have a good Monday :)
  14. Of course..and those are fine animals in your gateway..and you should see the the last generation of wolf puppies romp in the meadows while visitor make film from the highway..in Yellowstone Park..they feed them too..and thousands now. We are animal tenders who started with the eagles..and have cows now..and cats..dogs…no  wolves…but we missed them.
    And the reason I would take the left end of the wave is because I think I could just lay down and win…maybe it will curl to the left some more and out run the right side?…Hmmmm..I’ll take the left.
  19. What an inspiring poem.  It has been many months since I have posted a poem at my space, perhaps I will think about it now.  Work and life just gets in the way at times.  I laughed at you comment at my place.  My Mom always said that people needed to be "a little weird" to be worth knowing.  Perhaps she was on to somethings, because I do have a menagerie of friends.  I like to encourage individuality among them.
    Blessed be,
  20. Saw your comment at Deborah’s site…checking your site out accordingly. What a cool site you got here mister…the best I’ve seen yet among some thousands…congrats.
    I do have some comments on things I see here…you take the right wave..I’ll take the left..race you to the breakers. And in Idaho..we launched a program a few years back to return the wolf to it’s natural habitat..Yellowstone park. From a few transplants, we’ve recoverd them to thousands..and growing…cool. Much enthusiam here over that success. But you live near the ocean…I’m up against mountains you have to go to Europe to see for duplication…thousand of miles of untouched wilderness here for sure..and as for me..am from the highest peaks we have locally..but moved to the valley flats..the "city" as it were.
    600,000 people here of the wierdest mix that a central town for an entire region can produce…we contain 60% of Idaho’s population along three rivers…illegals up the ying-yang…from all countries I might add…cool. We mix it up like no others. I’m studying biologies and emergent species in the desert basin to the East..and a paleolithic site that’s reputed to be the oldest culture in the world’s history "they say"…well, got tons of artifacts…stranger by far than the one’s studying them…but then..we think ourselves normal of course..and the others "warped."
    Global warming is my main topic…but my shame over my government’s refusal to embrace the issues whatsoever separates us forever…and pollution forces are being felt thoughout the region..especially downstream..which is all places between here and the sea..we’re at the head of the river is why….sad for them. But as for us…sweet water..blue skies…forests that will take your breath away…and a fabulous desert to review for me…I spend lots of time researching the effects of increasing water and temperature…benificial in my studies…the desert is blooming..growing rapidly..restoring itself to forests…and for us…farmlands that won’t need irrigation…very cool. Some effects are great for some…us for instance.
    But saying congrats on your space…at sixty-one, I can say: "You kids take care of these problems we face…okay?"
    David.
