Parcle Farce.

Photobucket

I sent a parcel to my daughter in Sweden containing x/mas presents for the family, It cost  £33 to send using "parcel force".
I was told on very good authority that it would arrive in Sweden before x/mas. Well it didnt, hasn’t and for all I know never shall.

I am sooooooo   freaking angry I dare not write further, save to say, "PARCLE FORCE  MY ARSE, MORE LIKE  PARCLE FARCE"

Considering I could have taken a cheap flight  to Stockholm for more or less the same price as it cost to send the parcel, I could have delivered it personally.   Parcel force…GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Update.

IT  ARRIVED, today. 5th of Jan.
26 days after I sent it.
It was sent in  07 and arrived in  08.
Well done  " PARCEL FORCE"  not.

  10. Hi Kenny, I’m sorry to hear about your Parcel Farce screwup. I have family that live a far distance from me and I send parcels and expect them to get there! I must say you are funny though, you made me laugh just by the way you worded  everything. I know it must be a huge frustration, I’d be so T’d off. Thanks for the nice graphic of the DOVE, it’s really pretty!

Hello English friend Kenny.  I would be equally as angry if not more so if my gifts hadn’t arrived on time or safely. Let’s just hope they do get there even if late.
Now back to the snow!  I was just reading that we had 31 inches of snow this past December.  In fact I woke up to snow this morning. The last several days the landscape looked like a winter wonderland. Very beautiful but inconvenient for most people.  I have no urgent needs to attend to and am enjoying the luxury of early retirement so I can sit back and enjoy that second cup of coffee.  But I must admit there was a time when I battled early snowy mornings and sometimes when you just have to do it……you seem to manage.
I wish you a peaceful New Year with many blessings in the year ahead.  Be well my friend.   Bittersweet
