A great day fishing
Terry and I had arranged to do a spot of fishing on Friday the 4th. It was the last opportunity to do so before a most unseasonal deep depression was to set in. We decided to take a chance on the good weather continuing, it turns out to have been a good decision.
The day began and the sun appeared from behind a cloud, as we made our way through a gentle swell to the fishing grounds.
It is getting lighter 6am.
Hungry gulls everywhere.
A little turn pays a visit
After some pretty good fishing we headed back toward the Tees estuary
and cleaned the catch and filleted 12 Cod and 7 Mackerel.
Later that evening, the first effects of the bad weather moved in, a thunderstorm, (our timing was perfect) and a fantastic sight of a wonderful rain bow appeared across my sky.
A wonderful ending to a wonderful day.
Yes a lovely way to end a lovely day.
OH…Before i forget. Here is a peek at the fillets ready for the freezer. yum yum yum yum yum.
